Project Overview
Midlands Online have worked internationally with a team of developers to deliver the first on chain Ethereum NFT (Non-Fungible Token) game shatteredeon.io that allows players to mint (create) one of thousands of dynamic NFT characters called Colonists on the Ethereum blockchain. The challenge for us is identifying newly minted Colonists and presenting them on the ReactJS User Interface. Our solution is utilising The Graph’s GraphQL API to query the Ethereum network. This solution has saved us time and money from employing or building our own indexing server.
